

Powered by the new iOS 4.3, it supports FaceTime and the update covers improved Safari performance, iTunes home sharing – letting you get all your content directly over WiFi to the iPad 2. There's also AirPlay improvement, and the oft mentioned iPad preference switch being able to change to mute or rotation lock.

Apple also threw in Photo Booth for the iPad 2, which is basically a photo effects app. Take a photo and you can immediately edit it.
There's HDMI video output capable of up to 1080p, you’ll need to fork out $39 for an HDMI out cable, which can doubles as a charger when using. There's also another accessories called the 'Smart Covers', which acts like a – you guessed it a screen cover. It does things like prop up the iPad 2 and uses magnets to hinge on the screen. Opening the cover will turn on the device and puts it to sleep when the cover is back on. Apple pointed out that the pricing will remain the same as last year’s model, and will be on initially on AT&T and Verizon. It will launch initially in the US on March 11th and more 26 countries on March 26th. The WiFI model is spilt into 16GB, 32GB and 64GB which starts from $499, $599 and $699. The WiFi + 3G models will ship at $629, $729 and $829, respectively.
